The objective was to create a captivating and thought-provoking installation in honor of Tower Bridge’s 125th anniversary, reflecting on its history. Leveraging Rhino 3D, I developed the designs of the boxes and took on the responsibility of overseeing the entire manufacturing process. We chose to delve into the past and spotlight the alternative design proposals submitted during the bridge’s construction competition.

Our design took the form of a peep-show installation, where each box featured a meticulously crafted 3D model of one of these alternative bridge designs. Placing the final five boxes strategically around the bridge’s piers, both on the East and West sides of the river, offered visitors a unique glimpse into the bridge’s historical evolution.
