FANTASTIC FEATS FOR TOWER BRIDGE 2019

Tower Bridge
For the 125th anniversary of Tower Bridge, one of London’s most significant attractions, we were asked to design an engaging and provoking installation that would reflect upon the history of the bridge.
We have selected to focus on the past and bring to light the alternative design proposals that where put forward in the competition for the construction of the bridge. We created a peep-show type installation.
Each box contains a 3D model of the alternative bridge design. The final five boxes were placed through out the piers of the bridge, both East and West of the river.
Our main inspiration has been the materiality of the bridge. We have focused on the details, such as the metallic rivets and the metal beams for our designs.
